1. Moisture Meter Modes
The Protimeter MMS may be used as a moisture meter in two operational modes to suit a wide range of measurement applications and requirements.

Measure Mode The measure mode uses pin-type electrodes for surface moisture and deep wall probes for sub-surface to give precise wood moisture equivalent (WME) measurements in wood and masonry. The measure mode gives an actual moisture content value for assessing the moisture condition of materials.

Search Mode The search mode uses a radio frequency technology to provide a non-marking moisture measurement beneath the surface of walls and floors. The instrument is held against a surface and a relative moisture level value is displayed. This is useful for identifying areas of concern that may then require a more detailed investigation.
